The upcoming third season of the bishounen-filled anime series Hakuouki – Hakuouki Reimeiroku will be streamed officially and simultaeously as it airs in Japan through the online services of Crunchyroll. If you or your IP are located in either USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa, you’re lucky to be one of the chosen people to watch it online.
The third season, a prequel to the previous two, is also based on the original otome game by Idea Factory. Studio DEEN returns to animate the bishounens and the other sides of this rather historically incorrect, but very pleasurable to many romantic depiction of the men who were once known as the Shogunate’s dogs and also the Wolves of Mibu – the Shinsengumi – the protectors of the Tokugawa period in Japan.
The first episode will be streamed tomorrow, June 10, 2012. It will begin at 10:30 am PDT for all premium members of the service. A week later it will be made available to everyone from these countries who owns a regular membership.
