According to information released at Shogakukan’s Jisedai World Hobby Fair ’12 Summer event, the manga “Magi” by Shinobu Ohtaka (Sumomomo Momomo) will be getting a television anime series.
Magi recaptures the events of the Arabian Nights stories by Scheherazade (a.k.a. 1001 Nights). It has been published by Shogakukan since 2009 and the XIII Vol. will come out in July.
Project Magi‘s website is being currently having an empty domain, registered and leading to a Sony Entertainment website, but the project itself is not present as a part of the website.

Is this great news or not-so-great? What do you think? Comment below.
Note: No, it is not a new manga, as you might’ve been misled by my title. The idea is that this is a new manga to get animated and not a new manga that will be animated.
