The RPG game Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor‘s manga adaptation has just been launched in Monthly Shounen Sirius magazine (published by Kodansha). The mangaka is WARASIBE’s Satoru Matsuba, while character design’s credited to the original Atlus game’s designer Suzuhito Yasuda.
The new story follows the RPG and revolves around a monster invasion to the city of Tokyo. The creatures, that have never been encountered before and are causing huge issues for the Japanese people, came through the portable playing console COMP and have started attacking humans. This is also why the Japanese capital has been quarantine. We enter the story, witnessing the life-or-death battles of a group of teenagers and the hardships they encounter.
The July issue of Monthly Shounen Sirius includes also a cover and a double-sided poster with illustrations from the two creators of the new manga.
