The shoujo fantasy manga by Min Ayahana is returning to Shueisha’s Cookie magazine with a new title Akazukin Chacha N. It will be present in the very next issue that will come out on June 26. The story of the new project will be based on the same idea, but will be happening 12 years after the ending of the original manga and will be set in Tokyo.
The original manga revolved around three main characters – Chacha the magician, Shiine the magician apprentice and Riiya the wolf boy. Shueisha published the story in 13 volumes and had two Akazukin Chacha N oneshots published in 2011. There is also a TV anime adaptation that was released in 1994 and continued until 1995.
