The world Claymore has come to an end. The action fantasy manga by Norihiro Yagi had its last chapter published in this week’s Jump Square Magazine (published by Shueisha). The announcement of the fact that this is actually the final part of the story came as a little shock to many, but it will hopefully mark the end of something great and the beginning of something even bigger from Yari-sensei.
The abrupt end of the series comes shortly after Negima! was ended by Ken Akamatsu for the reason that, according to a new legislation that provides almost everyone who has had any kind of participation in the production of a work of art has the same copyrights over the final product as the creator him/herself. You can read a blog post about it here at AstroNerd Boy.
