diana wynne jones and dorabellaHowl’s Moving Castle is one of anime’s biggest projects as well as a favourite of many young and not so young fans. The woman behind this (and many other) great story is Diana Wynne Jones and if you want to show your respect for her work – go to Bristol this Sunday!

The author behind Howl’s Moving Castle, which turned out to be one of the most popular Studio Ghibli adaptations, and the Chrestomanci series dies in March 2011. Her life’s works will, however, stay with all forever. Her life and all the marvelous things she had created will be cherished and she will be commemorated this Sunday, April 22, 2012 in Bristol.

Various guests, including fellow authors, her editors and embers of the publishing houses will attend the event that will be officially happening at St George’s Church on Brandon Hill.
