One Piece: Pirate Warriors’ English Trailer Released (Video)

One Piece Kaizoku Musou (Pirate Warriors) has been the latest hype in the extremely popular franchise, found over Eiichiro Oda’s remarkable shounen manga. Naturally, the PS3 game is getting an English release, although not many details have been released. See below for the official Namco Bandai Games preview of the game.

North American and European release is planned for November 2012. The game has been available in Japan since March 1, 2012. Funimation Entertainment has been quoted as a collaborator in the English release, although it is still uncertain what that means (dubbing or something else?)

Here is also the description (without the incoherent spaces in some places) as posted below the video:

ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS is an exhilarating action game where players control the Straw Hat crew to defeat surrounding pirates. Luffy and his crew of pirates will fight waves of enemies in online and offline co-op missions. Feel what it is like to have Luffy’s special rubber ability and extend your arms freely or defl et cannonballs with rubber! The world’s most popular anime comes to life in a fully rendered masterpiece on the PlayStation®3!

Looks quite good. :) I was sure it’s going to get a worldwide release, especially after it did so well in Japan.

Seriously?! :D I admit I’ll buy the game, though.
