Usogui (The Lie Eater) Manga OVA Announced

An OVA series of the seinen manga Usogui (The Lie Eater) has been green-lit. This was announced in the latest, 24th issue of Toshio Sako’s series, published by Shueisha. Usogui (The Lie Eater) is a heavy-graphics seinen manga that revolves around Baku Madarame also known as “Usogui” (The Lie Eater). He is a gambler of the highest class as he is able to wn a game with even his life as a wager. The games are unique, their titles – odd, but the ways he plays is the most important.

The author Toshio Sako has no other titles that we know of, but if you enjoy seinen, you probably know what we’re talking about in Usogui. The graphics are definitely on the typical rough side and the script is definitely filled with heavy content, but there is a reason for it to be animated… It is a good seinen story with nice artwork. If you’re into this, you should check it out.

Those “Kagerou” freaks…

Is it gory?

Yes, but that’s not really the lead storyline. It has all things yo should find in a seinen story, though.

I’m a big fan. Happy it’s finally getting an OVA. Never imagined it as series myself…

I bet I’ll like this OVA ;)
