Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle Gets Second Season

Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle is getting a second season. The action anime that revolves around a puzzle has definitely got someone’s attention since animation studio Sunrise has announced this news. The philosopher’s stone is so yesterday, philosopher’s brain is in fashion!

The anime is based on the collective works of studio Sunrise’s Junichi Sato, Mayori Sekijima; the official author being named Hajime Yatate. Yoshiki Togawa, on the other side, is the mangaka behind the manga adaptation of the story – Phi Brain: Saigo no Puzzle (Puzzle of the End – personal translation).

The story is simple:

Kaito Daimon is a puzzle-solving genius who, given his incredible and pretty unique capabilities, is faced with a special test to prove and put into specification his mind abilities. Naturally for such a person, he foresees that the test itself is a puzzle, but it is not as easy as it may seem. Instantly, he is taken into the reality of Kami no Puzzle or the Puzzle of God (POG) – a creation by a mysterious organization with unclear basis and uses. Proving himself a Solver, Kaito-kun begins his new life in a whole other reality – the reality of POG’s deadly puzzles and riddles that are caught all over the world and only he and a select few can solve.
