Roujin-Z Sci-Fi Anime Gets a BD/DVD Release

One of the key sience fiction anime films of the past century will be re-released for the love of otaku! The Roujin-Z Blu-Ray Disk and DVD version will be distributed by Manga UK for Kaze.

The publisher has announced that the sci-fi story of an disabled elderly man who is entirely dependant on his robotized bed, which suddenly goes berserk and causes insane havoc and chaos around Japan, will be availablefor pre-order in February while the official release date is June 11, 2012.Manga entertainment was also the original publisher of the VHS back in 1994

The script is written by Katsuhiro Otomo who is more than famous for the masterpiece Akira and the Steamboy anime movie.
