Chatmonchy to Perform Thermae Romae’s Theme Song (Video)

The rock band Chatmonchy that stands behind Bleach’s 12th Ending Song, two of Kuragehime’s Opening songs and Hataraki Man’s Ending song will be performing the official theme song for the upcoming historical/alternative reality anime series Thermae Romae (Roman Thermal Baths). The song is to be called “Thermae Roman” and will be released on February 8th as a separate single of the popular rock girl band.

The anime will be an adaptation of Mari Yamazaki’s original manga that tells the story of an architect of public bath houses in ancient Rome – Lucuis. At some point in time, he discovers that he can travel to different modern-day baths in Japan.

Additionally, a live-action movie adaptation will premiere on April 28, 2012.
