Nisemonogatari is the continuation of the extremely famous television anime Bakemonogatari by NisiOisin and revolves around the ‘Fire Sisters’ Tsukihi and Karen Araragi. The scenery is the early 21st century. While the black swindler Kaiki Deishu attempts to spread as much damnation as possible through the curse that once enchanted Hitagi, the Araragi sisters are trying to stop the worst from happening.
This is all the information behind Nisemongatari’s television anime and, although it seems vague, if I give additional description, taken from the original stories by NisiOisin, I risk spoiling all the fun.

There is a lot of information about this anime, which will premiere on January 7th, 2012. The exact time of the first episode’s broadcast is 26:40 on Saturday (otherwise meaning Sunday at 2:40am Japanese time).
As announced on the official Nisemonogatari website, the ending theme song will be “Naisho no Hanashi” performed by ClariS and composed by supercell’s Ryo.
There are two videos available on the website, one of which includes the ending theme song!
If I have to be honest, I am not a big fan of the genre, however, since Bakemonogatari enjoys a pretty big audience and fanbase, I have to agree that Nisemonogatari, being the continuation, should be very successful. Actually, the graphics look very nice and the motion of the characters is really something. With directing by the one behind Puella Magi Madoka Magica that stole almost every possible award this year, I have absolute security in this new show.
Following are the character profiles as posted on the official website:

Actually, it’s not the usual stuff… it has a fair portion of decent action and violence, so I don’t mind it. I’ve also read that Nisemonogatari will be more comedy and less romance, so I’ll probably like it.
Is it rated R again?
Yep, 17+ for violence and profanity…
WOW! Look at all those images!!! Love it!
