At this year’s Dubai International Film Festival awards the movie Tatsumi, fighting for the Singaporean pride, but actually also for the Japanese since it’s based on the autobiographical manga “A Drifting Life” by Yoshihiro Tatsumi. The movie itself is by Eric Khoo.
This adaptation was not only voted as the best film, but also best composer and the best film in the Muhr AsiaAfrica competition.
Let’s not forget that this production was also submitted by Singapore for the 89th annual Academy Awards.
