Sengoku Basara 3: Utage PS3/Wii News (Video)

The new Sengoku Basara installment from Capcom is officially called Sengoku Basara 3: Utage and has just received the right to have two promotional videos added to the YouTube channel of its production company. This time, the players can play by themselves or with a friend (1/2 player mode), can control new and old characters… This installment will be released on the Japanese market November 10, 2011 and will cost just 5,800 JPY (PS3) and 4,990 JPY (Wii), making about 55 and 47 EUR, respectively.

The two new videos show the possible gameplay, offered characters (and their quirks as usual ;) ) and the great graphics of the game. There is a new Story Mode, filling up the gaps that were present in the first game; a total of 8 playable main characters that weren’t available in the past – Kojuurou Katakura, Sasuke Sarutobi, Tenkai/Akechi Matsuhide, Muneshige Tachibana, Hisahide Matsunaga, Hideaki Kobayakawa, Yoshiaki Mogami, Sorin Otomo; expanded battle system with a Tag Mode, allowing two generals to follow each other and switch places and activeness throughout the game. At the end of the day, we have 30 characters, 16 old ones and 14 new and a lot of cool new functions.

The franchise has inspired two Sengoku Basara anime TV series and a full movie which officially came out in DVD this last October.

Well, US people should’ve bought the previously released game… Capcom won’t do something economically unwise.

Agreed. Not many people “from the West” are educated enough to be informed of the Sengoku period and appreciate the game.

Right it is…but there are some enthusiast who want to bring it to the West. They’ve made a Facebook site…

I so love the Basara guys… Too bad we can only order this one from Japan and it’s all in Japanese…

Great game, but the kid has a point…
