CLAMP’s Cardcaptor Sakura and Magic Knight Rayearth first of many

CLAMP”s Cardcaptor Sakura and Magic Knight Rayearth are the first two manga to be digitally released for PC and mobile devices by Kodansha. The company is planning to release all of CLAMP’s works whose rights are owned by it including xxxHOLiC, CLOVER, Chobits, Magic Knight Rayearth’s second part and even Tsubasa RESERVoirCHRoNiCLE. Further information is unavailable. Dates of availability of the e-manga versions of all our favourite CLAMP works will begin gradually as most details depend of the retailer and the bookstores you buy from.

Good news! I love digital manga.

Usually, when a company launches a new initiative (large scale PC and mobile releases) to use a name that will make things work. Therefore I’m not surprised it’s CLAMP.
The positive outcome might be a possible decrease in pirate copies, due to lower pricing and easier “delivery” of the digital products. So – good luck!

CLAMP getting even more close to the masses? That was expected.
