I know that there is no one around the otaku community who doesn’t know what a Pokemon is, you all remember the first anime you’ve seen and it’s likely it was Pokemon (or the second, third – it was one of the first). Since the very beginning, this has turned into probably the vastest and most prolonged anime-related franchise in world history. Just think of how many board games, mini-stories, plush toys, action figures, posters, magazines, video games, PSP games, Wii games and everything else there is has been created and spread all around the globe. I don’t know if it;s a good or a bad thing, but it is a good one for as far as there is a thing from the past that still lives on.

Just yesterday a gameplay video was released of the new Nintendo 3DS game Pokemon Rumble Blast. It is 80 seconds long. The game is a sequel to the 2009 game Pokemon Rumble. It was develped by Ambrella. There a lot of new functions and interesting stuff to do: you can collect more than 600 tiny pokemons, you can enter an entirely new adventure and have improved boss fights, not to mention the team and charge battle options!
In Japan, the game was released as Super Pokemon Scramble in August 2011. In North America, Pokemon Rumble Blast will start shipping October 24 and in Europe – December 2, 2011.
