According to an official announcement from the official Yahoo! Japan website, there will be a new collaboration between the portal and one of the biggest Japanese game companies Square Enix. All the information that was given is that the project will be a big-scale game and that more details will be available on October 5, 2011. That shall be the second collaboration between the two companies with the first one being Sengoku IXA – a browser-based game based in the reality of the very popular Warring Era of Japan (sengoku).
Square Enix is most popular for the manga series published by them including Arakawa under the Bridge, Darker than Black, Kuroshitsuji, Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Zombie-Loan and more. The list of successful Square Enix published works is almost eternal and that makes us wonder which one will the game be based upon. Definitely there will be a catch, but I am certain that Yahoo! Japan won’t miss out on such popular titles.
