Tsure ga Utsu ni Narimashite is the live-action animation of the very popular essay manga by Tenten Hosokawa. It is a semi-autobiographical story about a young couple. A wife, Aoi Miyazaki (Colourful), and her office working husband, Masato Sakai (Honey and Clover, Aoi Bungaku Series), are trying to get over the issues created by him being diagnosed with severe depression. It, together with the suicidal thoughts that sneak into that head of his, is the cloud that puts a shadow upon their otherwise happy and sunny marriage.
The script of Tsure ga Utsu ni Narimashite is writer by Takeshi Aoshima (Rain of Light, Ki no Umi) and the director is Kiyoshi Sasabe (Yunagi no Machi Sakura no Kuni, Chirusoku no Natsu). The movie is set to launch on October 8 in a nationwide premiere in cinemas across Japan.
