Code Geass Takes Over the Manga World

As we all know Lelouch is almighty, but his influence will become even stronger and his realm – vaster as the Code Geass franchise is expanding. Kadokawa Shoten’s Newtype Ace magazine continues to inform us on new manga series based on the Code Geass project.

One of the two new projects is called KMF (Knightmare Frame) Variation and the manga of it will be posted in the magazine. It will include personalized and customized versions of a specific mecha from the anime (Knightmare Frame mecha). Maybe Shinigami should note that Gundam made this same type of project a few eras ago with the Mobile Suit Variation (MSV).

Newtype Ace magazine also announced that the ongoing project of the new Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito anime is still in the making and is expected to broadcast sometime in 2012, though, according to the GM of Overseas Department of the production – they are behind schedule. Considering the disaster that Japan had to suffer through and everything that followed, it’s no wonder and no one would blame them. The second announced manga project is an adaptation of the upcoming animated TV series.
