Lucky Star seiyuu to Act in the New Ad Lib Anime Kenkyūsho

Kaori Fukuhara and Emiri Katou, the two seiyuu for the popular characters of Tsukasa and Kagami Hiiragi in Kagami Yoshimizu’s Lucky Star animated adaptation, are to play in the same series once more. This time it’s all about experimenting and research.

The Ad Lib Anime Kenkyuusho is an entirely new concept in the anime world, or at least at such a scale. The main idea behind it is that, unlike with usual series, movies and everything there is, this project’s scenes will be made based on the ad lib of the script. That is exactly the opposite of what is being done from centuries – recording the voices based on the scenes and script.

It’s a good thing Fukuhara and Katou have worked on such great projects (Beelzebub, Lucky Star, Pandora Hearts, Macross Frontier for Fukuhara and Angel Beats, Kuroshitsuji and Lucky Star, Darker than Black and Soul Eater for Katou) since it will definitely be a hard job making this new ad lib anime Kenkyuusho (means ad lib anime laboratory, by the way). They are also the lead singers of the show’s opening song, written by Aki Hata and produced by monaca.
